Abobo confluence college of health technology came into existence fully in October 9, 2017 in a temporary site at Abobo community. The temporary building was given out by Anthony Ojeba Abdulsamad for the commencement of the institution.

The pioneer members that came up with the initiative of the establishment are:

• Mall Raji Isiaka Omeiza
• Mr Johnson Adeleye
• Dr Shaibu Ojo
• Alhaji Muhammed Echichi

Everyone have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the institution. The first approval for the establishment of the college was through Ministry of Health Lokoja. The approval was dated 5^th July 2017 .

Those at the helm of affairs then in the ministry were Dr. J.F Olorunfemi (The Primary Health Care Director) and Mr J.K Ologe who was the Director in charge of training institutions. They facilitated the approval for the establishment. A certificate of incorporation was processed as well through Corporate Affairs Commission which was as well dated 12^th August, 2020. The idea of the institution coming up is to compliment government effort in training proficient health man-powers to function in the health sector. The programme initially commenced a Diploma in Community Health.

All thanks goes to Almighty Allah that today, the institution moved to its permanent site in the year 2019.
